CueCrow App — Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Wilson Komala, an individual based in Singapore, who operates CueCrow (“CueCrow”, “we”, “us”), about the CueCrow iPhone app. Your licence to use the app is Apple’s Licensed Application End User Agreement (the Standard EULA), and these terms add to it. If the two disagree about the app, these terms apply as far as the Standard EULA allows. Our Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use the app
- You must be at least 13 to use the app. The features that use AI services — any feature that sends your words, voice or video to an AI service — are only for people 18 and over. The app asks your year of birth once on each iPhone and keeps these features closed to anyone younger.
- If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live, if higher), you may subscribe only with the permission of a parent or guardian. Credits can be used only on the AI features, which are for people 18 and over.
- The app creates an anonymous account for your iPhone. You are responsible for what is done with the app on your devices.
2. Subscriptions
- Recording needs a subscription. Subscriptions are sold through the App Store: Apple charges your Apple ID, and Apple’s terms for purchases apply.
- The price, the billing period and any free trial are shown before you confirm. We test prices and free trials, so you may see different offers from someone else; the offer you confirm is the one you get.
- A subscription renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel. To stop the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your iPhone’s Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- If you subscribe during a free trial, any unused part of a free trial ends when the paid subscription starts.
3. Credits
- Credits pay for the AI video formats and for some re-edits. The cost in credits is shown before you start, and credits are whole numbers.
- While your subscription is paid (not during a free trial), you get included credits each month. Unused included credits roll over to the next month, then expire. Bought credits do not expire.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are lost when you delete your account.
- If a video fails, or you cancel it before its paid steps start, its credits come back in full. If you tap “Delete from CueCrow” while a re-edit is still being made, that re-edit’s credits come back. If you turn AI features off while a video is being made, the video stops: its credits come back only if it had not reached its format’s refund cut (the step where the paid AI work starts); after that, its credits are used.
4. Refunds
Refunds of money are handled by Apple under its rules: we cannot refund an App Store payment ourselves. To ask for one, use Apple’s Report a Problem page. Nothing in these terms limits a refund the law gives you.
5. Acceptable use
You may name real people, companies and brands in your scripts, and show them as characters in the videos you make. When you do, you must be fair and truthful. You agree not to use the app, or anything it makes, to:
- make false or defamatory claims about a real person or company, or present something made up as fact;
- impersonate someone to deceive people — for example, to make it look as if a real person or company said or endorsed something they did not;
- infringe anyone’s rights, including trademarks, copyright, or a person’s likeness or privacy;
- use another person’s real voice (for example a recording of it) without their permission;
- break the law;
- make hateful, harassing, violent, threatening or deceptive content, sexual content involving minors, or content that exploits or harms anyone;
- send spam or misleading advertising;
- copy, reverse engineer or break the app, its security or its limits, or abuse the free features or credits with fake or repeated accounts.
Some subjects are not available in the app, such as religious figures.
You are responsible for what you make and what you publish. If something you make or post breaks these rules, we may stop a video, refuse a request, remove content, and suspend or close an account.
6. Report a video
If you see a video made with CueCrow that you think breaks these rules — for example, it says something false about you or your company, or uses your rights without permission — email hello@cuecrow.com with the subject “Report a video”. Include the link to the video or a description of it, why you are reporting it, and how we can reach you. We look into every report and may remove content, and suspend or close the account that made it. We use your details only to handle the report.
7. AI-generated content
- The app uses AI to suggest scripts and to make videos. AI output can be wrong, odd or similar to other people’s; check everything before you post it. You are responsible for what you publish.
- You own your scripts, recordings and the videos you make, as far as the law allows. We do not claim ownership. You give us permission to process them only to provide the app to you.
- What you send to our AI partners is not used to train their models.
- An automatic safety check runs on scripts, and we may refuse a script or a video that breaks section 5.
- Videos made on a free account or during a free trial carry a small “Made with CueCrow” mark.
8. Your account and deleting it
- You can delete your account at any time in the app with “Delete my account”. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what is kept.
- Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in Settings first; Apple keeps billing until you do.
- Finished videos on our server are kept for 7 days so you can re-edit them, then deleted. Save the videos you want to keep to your iPhone.
9. Changes to the app and to these terms
We may change, add or remove features. We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability or accuracy. Nothing here is a promise about results from posting videos.
11. Limitation of liability
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the app is capped at the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud — or your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Disputes
- Talk to us first. Email hello@cuecrow.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
- Arbitration. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under its rules, by one arbitrator, seated in Singapore, in English. Either of us may still use a small-claims court for a claim within its limits.
- Consumers abroad. If the law where you live does not allow a consumer to be bound by arbitration or by a foreign court (as in the European Union and the United Kingdom), you may bring a claim in the courts where you live instead.
- Individual claims only. Where the law allows, disputes are resolved individually — not as a class, collective or representative action.
13. General
- Assignment. We may transfer these terms to a company we set up to run CueCrow or to anyone who acquires CueCrow; your rights continue with them.
- Severability. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
- Entire agreement. These terms, the Standard EULA and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app.
